Double Flashback Friday!
This past Monday, we were thrilled to welcome the delightfully English Andy Zaltzman, who was in town filming John Oliver’s New York Stand-up Show for Comedy Central. Thank you to The Bugle fans who came out en masse. You guys brought your game!
The show was hosted by Kristen Schaal and also featured some of our NY favorites: Jessi Klein, Michael Che, Oren Brimer (Front Page Films) and a surprise set from rocker Mike Doughty!
And as Kurt predicted, when he’s away…Tori Amos will play.

Complete with a lesson in Origami, a singing Justin Bieber toothbrush, guest appearances by improvisers Eric Drysdale and Jordan Klepper, and drop-in audience member Susan Sarandon, who was nothing but smiles up in the tech booth! The New Year (Happy New Year y’all!) is all about shiny new resolutions. It’s about better. All the other resolutions can be boiled down to that. Being better, which is really about empowerment.
